Tax-Free Childcare is a new government scheme to help working parents with the cost of childcare. Parents will be able to open an online account, which they can use to pay for childcare from a registered provider. For every £8 a parent pays in, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can receive up to £2,000 per child, per year, towards their childcare costs, or £4,000 for disabled children. The scheme will be available for children up to the age of 12, or 17 for children with disabilities. To qualify, parents will have to be in work, and each expecting to earn at least £115 a week. Each parent must not have income over £100,000 per year.
As the weather is getting warmer please can I ask that your child has their own water bottle in nursery on the days they attend. This helps the children to know their own bottle, as well as encouraging them to drink.
Could all children be in appropriate clothing for the weather. E.g. sun hats, cardigans/jumpers, coats/shower coats and so on. This will help your child to be comfortable at all times while with us.
I have sent consent forms out for sun cream. If you wish your child to use our sun cream there will be a payment of £2 for the summer. Please ensure the slip is returned as soon as possible. If you have not received an e-mail with the consent form on, please ask in your child’s room for one.

Could we ask parents to retain all nursery invoices for the financial year as you may be required to produce these for tax purposes. However, due to the profound amount of administration when producing a year’s invoices, unfortunately we will now have to make a charge of £10 for this service.

Pre- shool continue to hold meeting with your child’s chosen school to ensure you childs transition to school will be as easy as posible for them.
Dates to remember
Nursery will be closed for the bank holiday Monday 29th May 2017 and return on the Tuesday 30th May 2017.
May Half term for term time only children will be from Friday 26th May 2017 and return 5th June 2017.
Pre-school end of term (year) for term time only children will be Friday 21st July 2017 and for those who will be returning after the summer holiday will return on 4th September 2017.
Graduation for Pre-school will be Saturday 22nd July starting at 11am but we ask for the children to arrive by 10.30 to allow us time to get them ready.
